I joined Engage in January 2017 and have recently taken on the role of Director of Schools Work. I started at Engage as the administrator and project manager and, over the years took on the additional role of Senior Schools Worker.  My work takes me into local schools and Woking College, where I do Christian Unions, guest speaker events, support staff, assemblies and more. I have always had a passion for working with children and youth and now being able to share the Christian message with them is even better.

In summer 2019 I completed a course qualifying me as a Mental Health Youth First Aider, accredited by MHFA England. The course gave me understanding of mental health and mental illness, and how to see the signs in young people when they need support. I also hold a qualification in Youth Counselling which has enabled me to launch the Engage & Emerge Mentoring Programme at Engage.

Outside of work, I love spending time walking with my husband, children and dog, reading, movies, and laughing, especially when playing pranks.
