Pray
For the past 20 plus years and still today, we are called and guided by God to journey with and serve the young people of Woking. We are equipped to do His work through prayer.
Everything we do is underpinned in prayer. If you wish to support Engage through prayer, you can do so now by following our prompts below. They can also be found on the newsletter.
Prayer Prompts
Please give thanks for all the volunteers that help us deliver all our activities in schools and college.
Give thanks and praise for all the opportunities we have had and continue to have in the education community in Woking.
For protection and peace for all the students that have been mentored this academic year.
That youth workers and children’s workers have peace and wisdom to help and guide them in their roles at Church.
Pray for rest and refreshment for the whole Engage team, Trustees and volunteers.
For more volunteers to support the mission of Engage – especially a new Chair of Trustees and a Human Resources Trustee.
We are extremely grateful to you for holding Engage in your prayers.
A PRAYER FOR ENGAGE
God of faith, hope and love,
Send your Holy Spirit to guide the work of Engage;
grant us vision in our planning,
wisdom in our decisions,
joy in our ministry,
and power to our witness.
Help Engage to nurture and encourage children and
young people,
to help them grow in faith,
grow in confidence,
grow in understanding of your love,
and grow in their desire to serve others.
Raise up leaders who will inspire the next generation,
strengthen Engage’s partnerships with churches, schools
and communities, and equip them to share the good
news of Jesus with courage and compassion.
May all that Engage does bring glory to you and help
children and young people discover the fullness of life
found in Christ.
