Jo Birkby – Trustee
Although I am a new Trustee of Engage, I have been privileged to have worked alongside Engage leaders in Open the Book assemblies and lunch clubs in my role as Children & Families Minister of Holy Trinity Knaphill and St Saviour’s Brookwood, where I worked for 18 years. It has always been my passion to share Jesus with young children and it’s so good to be able to now support the work of Engage as trustee.
Since ‘retiring’ I have pursued my creative leanings and have established a small business making crochet toys and home decor for sale at markets and online.
I am married to David and this year we will celebrate our 36th anniversary with our two adult children, Jack and Fran.
